For those who might be
interested, I have wall to wall cell service at my home … and about 150 foot
from the house …
I had no cell signal
at all .
It can be done with
Exede satellite internet service and a Verizon
wireless Network Extender
A one time fee of $250
for the network extender (they have a special running now for $150) and $60 per
month for really fast internet service … Exede is an
all American company.

I'd like to point out that the wireless service through Skyrunner does not have the same performance. We have the 3mb down / 1mb up service, and though the network extender indicated four bars of service on our phones, we had poor connections on most cell calls. While we could generally hear callers fairly well, they often had difficulty hearing us clearly. We suspect this had to do with the upload speed as well as the latency inherent in a wireless internet connection. I'm glad it works for some people though! Maybe we'll get an actual tower one day...
