Current Events is not so Current
I clicked on the link in my webpage this morning for current events and realized suddenly that I've been posting to Facebook and have forgotten to update my blog! Oh No!
Well, there's nothing to be done about it at this late date, only to invite you over to the Facebook Page, there's only so much a body can do. Golden Valley on Facebook for more happenings, although there's not a lot happening in Golden Valley proper. The men of the community have joined forces to put a new roof on the community clubhouse it looks great. The new sign is up, too and it looks marvelous. I'll put some pictures of the new roof on facebook, I've already posted pictures of the sign.

It used to cost $2.00 per person per day to enjoy the camp for Methodist Church members and $3.00 for non members, then because of the economy they did away with the charges altogether to do what they were started for in the first place, to be a gathering place for children and families surrounded by nature in a lovely area originally known as: Show Me the Way. kd
